As our lease ends on Franklin Street, the Blue’s Crew HAS transitioned solely to catering. This aspect of our business has really blossomed & we take great joy in being a part of Chapel Hill’s one of a kind sporting events, celebrations, weddings & corporate events. We are excited about this next chapter (& our beautiful new kitchen!) Be on the lookout for our new game day packages!!

We will treasure the last 4 1/2 years on Franklin Street, where we shared our good ol’ Southern hospitality & food with folks from all over the world & cheered on our beloved Tar Heels together. We genuinely appreciate the loyal support we received from the athletes, the alumni, the frats & sororities, & the many undergraduate & graduate schools — you made Blue’s successful. Thank you to Southern Living Magazine & so many others for their kind honors.

Blues BBQ is a family owned smokehouse on Franklin Street in downtown Chapel Hill, just steps from the UNC campus. We have large indoor & outdoor seating areas and welcome large parties, families & dogs. Our BBQ is done the old fashioned North Carolina way — smoked low ‘n slow over Hickory logs — & served with slaw, Eastern & Lexington sauces:)
